THE PROBLEM

Does This Sound

Familiar?

Your Stomach drops the second you see another dog on the footpath

You’ve started walking at wierd hours just to avoid other people and dogs

Every walk feels like a battle – pulling, lunging, barking, and you’re exhausted before you even get home

You’ve tried treats, distractions, YouTube videos, and nothing sticks.

You love your dog, but honestly? You’ve thought about whether you made the right choice.

You’re not a bad owner. And your dog is not broken.

Reactivity is one of the most common behavioural issues in dogs – and one of the most fixable. You just need the right approach, the right support, and someone who actually gets it.

THE SOLUTION

Introducing The Reactivity Reset

This isn’t another “watch some videos and hope for the best” course. The Reactivity Reset is a structured 8-week program that combines online foundations with real-hands on group training because your dog doesn’t learn in a vacuum. They need to learn around other dogs.

The first 4 weeks, you’ll see Michelle for 1:1 guidance, and you will also work through foundation at home – resettling the dog’s nervous system, building communication, and establishing a reward system that actually works. Then we move into 4 consecutive Saturdays of group sessions where you’ll practice everything in a controlled environment with other reactive dogs. This is not your normal obedience class where you shrink into the background with the naughty dog. This is for Reactivity Reset clients only, and this is where the magic happens. Ask anyone who has attended.

Real results. Faster than you’d expect.

What Makes This Different?

Real-World Group Learning  It’s not a generic group class where your dog is thrown in with chaos. We set you up in a private 1:1 sessions,

Weeks 1–4: Reset your dog’s nervous system, build communication, and establish a reward system that actually works — all from home.

Weeks 5–8: Four consecutive Saturdays of hands-on training with other reactive dogs in a controlled, supportive environment. Everyone starts nervous, then everyone wants more!

Complete Support System You’re never left wondering what to do next. This program gives you everything you need: personalised one-on-one guidance, hands-on group sessions with real triggers, and ongoing support from Michelle through group calls and our community. You’ll be surrounded by dog owners who truly understand your journey – no more feeling alone. Real support, real results, real community.

It’s not generic advice from the internet. This is a structured program based on proven training principles that have helped hundreds of reactive dogs transform their behaviour—and you’ll have a community of owners going through the same journey alongside you. Support, and seeing others growing in confidence along with you.

Meet Your Trainer

Michelle

Hi, I’m Michelle — a professional dog trainer based on the Gold Coast, helping reactive and anxious dogs anywhere in the world.

I know what it feels like when your heart drops the second you see another dog approaching. The tight grip on the lead. The held breath. The hoping that maybe, just this once, your dog won’t lose it. And then they do. And you feel like a failure — even though you’ve tried everything.

I’ve worked with hundreds of owners who felt exactly like that. Owners who loved their dogs but had started to dread leaving the house. Owners who’d been told their dog was “too far gone” or “just aggressive.” Most of the time, that’s simply not true.

My approach is about helping your dog feel better — not just behave better. When a dog understands what’s expected and feels safe, the behaviour changes follow. But I also believe in building YOUR confidence as a handler. Because the lead works both ways.

The goal isn’t just a quieter walk. It’s rebuilding the trust and communication between you and your dog — so you can actually enjoy life together again.

About The program

Where are you based, and what areas do you service?

I’m based on the Southern Gold Coast and service the Gold Coast and Northern NSW
for in-person sessions. I also work with clients anywhere in the world via Zoom — so
no matter where you are, I can make it work.

Honestly? Usually both. I coach you and train your dog at the same time. Most of the hands-on work will be done by you, with me guiding you

every step of the way. The goal is to set you up so you don’t need me there holding your hand forever — you and your dog will be working as a team.

That’s one of the most common things I hear — and honestly, it makes sense. Not every trainer is the right fit for every dog or every owner. Before I do anything, I take the time to really get to know your dog, what you’re dealing with day to day, and what
you actually want life to look like. My programs include support during sessions and in between them, and I’ve worked with thousands of breeds and issues. I focus on real-life results and lasting change — not quick fixes

I hear this all the time — and I want you to know, that nervousness makes complete sense. Almost everyone who comes into the group sessions feels exactly the same way before they start. What I also hear, without fail, is that once they’ve done them, they’re asking when they can do more.

Here’s what makes it different. There are no obedience drills, no perfectly behaved dogs, and no one getting asked to leave. Every single dog in that group is there for the same reason as yours. The group sessions are specifically for working through real-life reactivity — the lunging, the barking, the moments you can’t avoid.
Because you can’t make lasting change by avoiding triggers forever. You need a safe, controlled environment where there’s no judgement, where I can actually be there with you to work through it in real time and show your dog what to do instead.

It’s one-on-one support inside a small group setting. And when your dog starts to realise they can be around other dogs — and you start to see it too — the world opens up for both of you. The confidence that comes out of those sessions, for the dogs and the owners, is something I never get tired of watching.
Every dog and every owner moves at a different pace, so there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. What I can tell you is this: if you’re consistent and follow the program I build for you, you’ll likely see results faster than you expect. For basic obedience, you can generally notice improvement within one or two sessions. For more complex behaviours, it may take a few weeks. The more you implement the changes into your everyday life — not just once a week when you “have time” — the quicker and more lasting the results will be. It took time to get here. Trust the process, stay consistent, and I guarantee you’ll see change.

Not at all. Dogs of any age can learn — the old saying simply isn’t true. My programs
and training are tailored specifically to your dog, which means I meet them where they
are, at whatever stage of life they’re in. Age is rarely the barrier people think it is.

Absolutely. Some of the most rewarding work I do is with dogs that other trainers have struggled with. Every dog deserves the right support, and that’s exactly what I’m here to provide.

I train the dog in front of me. My goal is to limit frustration and provide clarity — for both the dog and the owner. I believe there is a time and a place for yes, and a time and a place for no. My methods are balanced. I may recommend a tool you haven’t used before, but every decision is made on a dog-by-dog basis — whatever is going to get you to your goals in the fairest way for your dog. If you don’t believe in saying no (fairly) to your dog, I’m probably not the trainer for you — and that’s okay.

Before the group block starts: If you need to reschedule, you can move to a different group block with at least 48 hours’ notice. Just message me on WhatsApp and we’ll get you into the next available block.

Once the group block starts: The group block run for 4 consecutive Saturdays, and all sessions must be completed within that timeframe. Individual sessions cannot be rescheduled once the block has started, as the training builds progressively each week and the group dynamic is essential to the learning process.

If you know you’ll be away during a scheduled block, please let me know before it starts so we can get you into a block that works with your schedule.
After the 8 weeks, you’ll have lifetime access to all the online training modules, so you can continue to refer back to the materials anytime you need a refresher.
You’ll also have the foundation skills, communication tools, and real-world experience you need to continue progressing with your dog independently. Many clients find that their dog continues to improve even after the program ends because they’ve built such a solid foundation.
If you want to take your training to the next level, you can also explore our Off-Leash Accelerator program, which uses e-collar training to give your dog ultimate off-leash freedom and reliability.
And of course, you’re always welcome to reach out if you need additional support.

About Michelle & My Dog Trainer

What are your qualifications?
I’m a professional dog trainer based on the Gold Coast with 6+ of experience specialising in reactive and anxious dogs, as well as high drive working breeds. I’ve helped hundreds of clients transform their dogs’ behaviour using balanced training methods, focusing heavily on play and a great reward system. I have completed Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training through National Dog Trainer Federation, as well as being mentored by some of the best trainers in the world. Most importantly, I have a proven track record of success with reactive dogs just like yours.
I use balanced training methods that prioritise building motivation, clear communication, and positive associations. I focus heavily on play, food motivation, and engagement to create a strong relationship between you and your dog. For some dogs in certain situations, I may recommend tools like prong collars (NSW only) or e-collars (QLD only) when appropriate and used correctly. Every dog is different, and I tailor my approach to what works best for your individual dog.
Yes! I’ve worked with hundreds of reactive dogs with all types of triggers — other dogs, people, bikes, cars, loud noises, and more. I’ve helped dogs who couldn’t walk down the street without lunging, dogs who couldn’t settle at home, and dogs whose owners felt hopeless. No matter how challenging your situation feels right now, I’ve likely worked with a similar case and helped them succeed.

I CAN guarantee that if you follow the program, practice consistently, and work through all the modules, you will see improvement. The Reactivity Reset is based on proven training principles that work for the vast majority of reactive dogs. I have seen it work time and time again! Plus, you have me supporting you every step of the way to troubleshoot challenges and adjust the plan as needed. And, remember there is a guarantee that I will continue to work with you until we see results.

Your Dog Deserves Better. So Do You.

Imagine what life could look like just weeks from now!

This isn’t a fantasy. This is what happens when you change how your dog feels instead of just managing their behaviour. People notice a change within weeks. They start trusting their dog again. And they finally stop avoiding life and start living it—with their dog by their side.

Your dog can change. The only question is: when do you want to start?

Having a calm, confident dog who can engage with you out and about, and relax at home

Taking your dog to the cafe, beach or park.

Walking your dog calmly past other dogs without lunging or barking

Enjoying stress-free walks instead of dreading them
