MY PUPPY SCHOOL 6 WEEK CLASS
$235 for all 6 classes
Where: Currumbin Community Special School
When: Consecutive Saturdays at 8:30am (45 mins)
Pups 8 wks to 5 months

Limited to 6 pups per class. With a strong focus on engagement with you and developing a confident puppy that loves to learn. You will learn not just obedience, but how to navigate the environment, as well as valuable life skills to set your puppy up for success.
Must have first vaccination to attend.

MY FOUNDATIONS (Level 1 Obedience) 6 WEEK CLASS
$235 for all 6 classes

When: 6 x Consecutive Saturdays at 9:45am (45mins class)
Dogs: 5+ months

No previous training required! Having a great dog, starts by nailing the basics. We will introduce markers, basic obedience skills like sit, drop and recall plus much more.
Teaching structured play, a highly valuable reward system, & engagement exercise, we will help you build a strong bond with your dog.

Have you graduated "My Foundations" level 1? This is your next step!
MY NEXT STEP level 2
Where: Currumbin Community Special School
When: 6 x Consecutive Saturdays at 11am (45mins class)
Dogs: 6+ months
We will develop on the skills you learned in "My Foundations".
Your dog will be building on their obedience, developing confidence and impulse control.
Working around distractions, increasing your confidence & relationship with your dog.
*Must complete level 1 prior to enrolment* OR contact Michelle
60 MINUTE LESSON. Dog, trainer and you.
This is where to get started. During our initial lesson we will do a thorough assessment, give you some basic skills to get you started and discuss the best package., based on your dogs training needs.
Need help with getting your dog to walk nicely? Help with some basic obedience, maybe one lesson will hit the spot. Get in touch to discuss.

This program has been developed by Michelle, who is passionate about working breeds or similar high drive breeds/crosses.
Walking a working breed around the block can be frustrating, and is not going to create a content dog. We will show you how to fulfil your dog's needs, develop great obedience, teach impulse control and create more balanced, and happy dogs, resulting in far less behaviour issues.
This program will help you create a great relationship with your dog.
TREK & TRAINS
From $400
5 X 45 MINUTE SESSIONS WITH DOG & TRAINER ONLY.
Trek & trains are perfect for those who need a little extra help reaching your training goals. Dog & Trainer only, we collect your dog, complete a 45-minute session in your local area, and provide a brief update/photos, homework and/or tips at the end of the session.
We do require you to have a single lesson prior to commencing a Trek & Train Package to discuss your training goals.

3 X 45 MINUTE PRIVATE LESSONS
Get a great start to life with your dog, or help your dog get back on track, by learning how to communicate, motivate and train your dog. Covering things like Recall, Doorway manners, jumping on guests, counter surfing, barking, place training, leash manners, and more! We can also help with some cases of leash reactivity or behaviour issues, depending on severity, you may want to upgrade to the next program.

This package isn't exclusively for behaviour modification clients, its tailored to your training goals.
Effective behaviour modification training focusses on addressing the underlying issues rather than suppressing the symptoms. Our tailored approach aims to empower both dogs and their humans with compassion and understanding. We tailor this program specifically to your dog's needs. I am confident working with all breeds and sizes.

Certified and Experienced Dog Trainer
Based on the Southern Gold Coast, Michelle, the founder of My Dog Trainer is a Certified Dog Trainer is passionate about meeting dogs’ genetic and breed specific needs to ensure they are fulfilled and happy. Michelle believes that a well-balanced, fulfilled dog, is a well behaved dog. Her approach focuses on understanding and catering to each dog’s unique needs, helping them thrive in a positive and engaging environment.
Michelle has a Certificate III in Dog Training & Behaviour from The National Dog Trainers Federation (NDTF) and has many years of experience working with dogs of all breeds.
Growing up on a large property with multiple dogs of all breeds, particularly Kelpies, Michelle watched her father effortlessly command his working dogs with a simple whistle or a subtle hand gesture to orchestrate the movement of a herd of sheep or cattle. This left an incredible mark and drove her fascination with behavioural training which led to a deepened curiosity and passion for delving into the nuances of canine behaviour and training methodologies, and the profound bond that can grow between humans and dogs. This led her to become a Professional Dog Trainer.
Michelle today has a beautiful Kelpie, “Indie” She is passionate about helping all breeds of dogs thrive in our modern-day while still honouring the species they are, dogs! Michelle loves both coaching the human and training the dog to be a great bonded team.
